Each year we proudly unite some of the pet industries most successful and knowledgeable professionals and give them a platform to showcase their talents, educate the public and spread awareness through the pet community.

Pet CPR & First Aid – with Dori Mayer
In this 5-hour First Aid & CPR class, participants use plush cat and dog models to reinforce the hands-on component of lecture and instructor-led demonstrations. Participants will learn choking management, 3-types of physical assessment, CPR, rescue breathing, bleeding & bandaging techniques, heat & cold injuries, seizures, poisoning, muzzling, vital signs and more! As a wonderful addition, K9 resuscitation manikin complete with breathing, chest compression and femoral pulse palpation capabilities is used to enhance the CPR and rescue breathing experience. Students will not only learn an array of life saving skills and receive the 40-page PetSaver course manual, a course certificate of training valid for 2 years and emergency wallet card.
Must be 12 years or older to participate. Class size is limited so register soon.

Maximizing Health with Whole Foods – Not Drugs – with Dr. Judy Morgan
Discussion of individualized diets for health and specific disease problems for each participant. Bring your dog and any laboratory test results you might want to discuss. Discussion will include all participants so that everyone can learn from each case. If your pet has no problems but you just want to learn how to feed home prepared meals, we can discuss that. Limited class size of ten.

Working with Linda Tellington-Jones for over 30 years, Sally is one of the top TTouch Practitioners in the world and will be bringing the gift of TTouch to our show. Tellington TTouch is a specialized approach to the care and training of our companion animals and horses. It can help you understand and influence your animal with your heart and hands in a way that develops trust, creates a harmonious relationship and changes unwanted behavior. Please bring your pets to the workshop so that you can learn TTouches that are particularly helpful to their specific needs. (Sally has particular expertise in dogs, rabbits and horses.) This is a class that you do not want to miss!

Parrot Behavior Workshop – with Jesse James, CAS, BIRDWHISPERER
Whether a bird bites, flees, threatens or quakes with fear; whether it’s a one-person bird or prefers one gender and/or nips at strangers, the BIRDWHISPERER can help. People watch in amazement as Jesse turns frightened, neglected, aggressive hard-to-handle birds into happy, loving pets. This intensive, 3 or more hour workshop is limited to 6 birds and 55 people.
