American
Kennel Club All-Breed Agility Trial - Hosted by
Oriole Dog Training Club Dog Agility is one of the fastest growing
sports in the country where after many months, even years, of
practice, dogs and handlers test their abilities. Dog agility is a
full speed run through a course where the dog has to perform
accurately and safely on A-Frames, Dog Walks, See-Saws and a wide
variety of jumps and tunnels. American Kennel Club (AKC) trials are
open to recognized AKC breeds. There are three levels of competition:
Novice - for dogs and/or handlers beginning their agility trial
careers; Open - an "intermediate" level; and Excellent, for
the most experienced dogs. Agility will run all three days at the
World of Pets Expo.

Johnny
Peers, Muttville Comix
– Born in New
Orleans, Louisiana, Johnny Peers learned the ropes of traveling show
business at an early age while working for his father who was a
concessionaire on Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey Circus. His skills
as a natural comedian led him to Clown Alley where he met and grew to
respect Lou Jacobs, one of the greatest American circus clowns. Some of
Jacobs’ most memorable clown routines were performed with dogs,
prompting Johnny to develop his own comedy routines with dogs. Most of his
dogs are rescued from shelters, justifying his motto "Any dog can be
a good dog". He is living proof that all animals thrive on love and
affection. Johnny has traveled extensively throughout North and South
America and Europe performing with leading circuses and in variety and
music halls. He was named the Animal Planet Pet Star Champion in 2003.
